Search numbers show demand direction, not a view forecast. They tell us which questions people ask; packaging and quality decide who watches.

Already shot — just re-title and re-cut
Existing footage sitting on searchable demand. No camera needed.
Heat pump vs furnace (~6,600 searches/mo) — covered inside "Real Cost of Winter" and "Cold Climate Heating" live episodes; cut a dedicated version titled for the question.
Dual fuel heat pump (~4,400/mo) — 12+ dual-fuel videos exist; none is titled for the search. Re-title the strongest one.
What is an inverter AC unit? (~2,400/mo) — the 110K-view inverter video answers this; update its title and description.
VRF library — re-title "VRF Isn't Complicated" and "VRF: Heat Pump vs Heat Recovery" to match real queries, supporting the new VRF anchor.
Re-chapter the back catalog — keyword-named chapters make existing videos eligible for Google key moments and AI citations with no new footage.
Command the conversation — AEO plays
People now ask AI assistants, not just Google — and AI names two or three sources per answer. These are the conversations happening right now where the first honest, authoritative voice wins the citation.
"Is the heat pump tax credit gone?" — timely, huge, unanswered. The federal 25C credit (up to $2,000) ended Dec 31, 2025. Homeowners are asking AI about it constantly in 2026, and most answers are confused. One clear video + article: what ended, what still works (HEAR/state/utility rebates), what it means for a 2026 purchase.
The refrigerant story favors us — say it now. The R-454B shortage is real ($1,000+ per cylinder, install delays) while R-32 is abundant at roughly half the price. "R-32 vs R-454B: what the shortage means for your new AC" is an honest, verifiable piece where the facts happen to land on GREE's side. Contractor and homeowner versions.
"Should I fix my R-410A system or replace it?" — R-410A is getting more expensive every year of the phasedown. The repair-or-replace math is the question behind thousands of AI conversations. An honest calculator + video owns it.
"Who actually makes your mini split?" — GREE is one of the world's largest HVAC manufacturers and builds units sold under other labels. The OEM story reframes every brand conversation: people ask AI "who makes X" and "is X a good brand," and the manufacturer who explains the industry honestly gets cited in all of them.
"Which brand should I buy / carry?" — own the criteria, not the verdict. AI gets asked for brand recommendations daily. Publish the evaluation framework (parts availability, dealer network, refrigerant choice, cold-climate specs, warranty terms, tech support) for both homeowners and contractors. Whoever writes the rubric shapes every answer.
Technician resource magnets. Reference assets techs use weekly are AI-citation machines: printable PT charts (R-32 / R-454B / R-410A), torque and wire-size tables, a commissioning checklist, an interactive error-code lookup, a superheat/subcooling calculator, and a state-by-state licensing + apprenticeship hub (state-level searches showed up across NY, NJ, MD, OR, MI, OH). Each one feeds the careers and tech-ed series.
How we make these win
Chapters carry the strategy. Each video answers a group of related questions; every chapter is named for one and the presenter says it out loud. The transcript is the metadata.
No branded intro. The first 30 seconds answers the question. Branding comes after the answer starts.
Title and thumbnail decide performance. Search data picks the topic; packaging is the video team's craft and it wins the click.
Batch by set. The shortlist groups picks by shoot type (talking head, bench demo, field install, ride-along) so one day of shooting covers several videos.
The winter deadline is real. Anything tagged "shoot by fall" must publish before the winter search spike.
Validate in YouTube Studio. The Research tab (Content Gaps) shows what viewers search on YouTube itself — check the top picks against it before shooting.
Every anchor becomes an article. Same pipeline as today: video, transcript, written guide on greecomfort.com. One shoot, two assets.
